Waste heat utilization in the butcher shop
In a modern butcher’s shop, energy costs are playing an increasingly important role in remaining competitive. A butcher’s shop in Bavaria has decided to use the waste heat from its refrigeration systems to heat the butcher’s shop and its adjoining residential building and to provide hot water.

Making good use of excess heat
The waste heat from the various cold rooms is recovered and stored in an Oskar° stratified storage tank. When needed, the service water is heated to the required temperature level via a hygienic fresh water module, flexibly according to demand. In addition, the excess heat is used to support the building’s heating system. The generators are controlled by a central controller, which was configured and programmed by our company according to the customer’s requirements.
