The advantages of the drinking water cascade heater at a glance:
Better hygiene and disinfection
In large systems, technical measures to reduce Legionella growth must be observed in accordance with the Drinking Water Ordinance. According to this, systems with a drinking water volume of more than 400 l and/or a pipe volume greater than 3 l between the drinking water heating outlet and the tapping point must be heated to at least 60 °C at least once a day, evenly throughout the system. In addition, the temperature in the circulating hot water system must not be more than 5 degrees below the storage outlet temperature. The greater the volume of hot drinking water stored, the more heat energy is required for the prescribed disinfection of the system. Our fresh water technology, in combination with the appropriate control technology, performs these tasks very efficiently and reliably.
