The advantages of the PV Max-Heater at a glance:
Use of surplus electricity
The system’s current meter reliably measures excess electricity and determines the actual amount of surplus energy available (after deducting all internal consumers, which have priority). This energy is forwarded to the continuously variable device (up to 12 kW) and used to heat the hydraulically integrated heat storage tank for later use in heating and domestic hot water. In this way, the excess power from the PV system is converted into heat energy and stored as renewable energy.
The intelligent control increases the consumption of renewable electricity and reduces the costs for conventional generation. The main difference to simple heating elements is that the temperature level can be precisely adjusted via the speed-controlled pump, ensuring that only usable heat is produced at the required temperature level.
PV Max-Heater F12 devices are designed to use excess electricity from newly installed photovoltaic systems for heating and hot water production (e.g., in private households). The intelligent ratiotherm PV Max-Heater technology can also be an interesting addition for old PV systems with high feed-in tariffs that are currently operating at full capacity and are due to expire under the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG).
Possible implementation variants for PV Max-Heater F12:
- Excess electricity in private households used for domestic consumption to generate hot water
- Use of surplus electricity from inverters capped by the energy supply company
- Combination of battery storage and PV Max-Heater >> Interfaces
- PV Max-Heater F12 can also be used as a sole or (emergency) heat generator.
