Oskar° WPS (heat pump storage tank) was developed specifically for use in combination with a heat pump. It simplifies the hydraulic connection of a heat pump to the central heat storage tank for heat pumps that require a volume flow of more than 1.5 m³/h without affecting the stratification in the storage tank.

The WPS storage tank simplifies the hydraulic connection of a heat pump to the central heat storage tank without affecting the stratification in the tank. The upper part of the tank remains completely available for hot water production. The storage tank allows direct heating in the heating circuit; the heat pump only has to produce what is actually needed. An additional advantage is that this storage tank can be used to easily bridge any blocking times imposed by the energy supplier on the heat pump.

Our Oskar° WPS heat storage tank is available in a wide range of standard sizes as well as in any special sizes required for a particular project. If necessary, all ratiotherm heat storage tanks can also be welded on site, which eliminates the need for a storage cascade and increases the efficiency of the overall system.
