Intelligent control technology for integrated systems
For a heating system to run smoothly, the individual components of the system must work well together. In addition to high-quality technical components from ratiotherm, intelligent control technology tailored to the project ensures this. The heat can then be distributed optimally throughout the house, significantly increasing living comfort. At the same time, energy can be saved, which translates into cash savings. Do you need flexible control technology for large, medium, or small projects? ratiotherm offers solution components and comprehensive systems for individual rooms and entire buildings, for distributed branches and properties or individual buildings, as well as for special building types and industries. From pre-programmed standard controllers to freely programmable controls (e.g., for cold near-heat networks), ratiotherm control technology is characterized by a diverse and coordinated range of high-performance hardware and software products.
The advantages of our control technology at a glance:

Thanks to the simple integration of systems from other manufacturers and rapid project planning based on our many years of experience, we offer you a real advantage, enabling you to implement your building technology projects quickly and with maximum efficiency.
Over 30 years of experience have gone into the intelligent and sophisticated software of the Oskar° control and regulation unit, which uses every last adjustment screw in a sophisticated system for ongoing optimisation. This enables the Oskar° heating system to respond flexibly to a wide variety of situations, such as weather fluctuations, while at the same time meeting individual requirements in terms of system design and use. At the same time, the software follows ratiotherm’s control logic and is designed to consistently prevent heat and energy losses.
Control technology – brain and nerves
In addition to the “brain,” the “nerves,” i.e., the measuring points, are essential for regulating and controlling the Oskar° heating system. For example, they record the temperatures of the different water layers in the Oskar° stratified storage tank. For this purpose, a bundle of immersion sleeves has been integrated into the stratified storage tank, which allows precise individual adjustment of the measuring points in the individual heat layers, even at a later stage. Using information about the current heat stratification and the heat demand, which is determined, for example, by measuring the room and outside temperatures, the software calculates when which heat generators and pumps need to be switched on or off in order to provide the necessary heating and hygienic fresh water in the most efficient way. At the same time, the software is designed to start up the heat generators as infrequently as possible in order to reduce emissions and wear.
To implement the ratiotherm control logic, a complete range of control technology is available for the entire system, both for the optimal operation of complete systems and individual ratiotherm components/modules, such as for SOK (solar compact station), TWK (drinking water compact station) or heating circuits. Depending on the control system, the ratiotherm control logic also includes the operation of heat generators and heat consumers in a complete system.
